I am an independent writer, photographer, naturalist, explorer, mother, and student.
I have made many places my home ( New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida, Central America, and Montana) each pulling me forth to experience its splendor. I call these regions the Triangular Divide with each point directing me to a truer North, with each experience unmasking my truer self.
Currently, I am back in Connecticut to pursue a M.F.A. in creative nonfiction.
In the distant past, I had the pleasure of serving as a weekly columnist for “Childcare Magazine” e-zine, writing to encourage the teaching of outdoor education through my articles: “Nature and Children” and “Nature Trivia.”
My creative ambition extends to the visual, as well. My photography encompasses a vast selection of images from nature and wildlife to event and lifestyle.
My work includes personal essays, poetry, and experimental prose.
On a journey to discovering my deeper self, I have lived by my own rules: experience life– live * breathe * grow * share.
